What will you be doing?
The Client Analyst role supports the broader Client Delivery team in attaining high levels of client satisfaction by ensuring the build, maintenance and dispatch of databases, reports and online services to Circana Clients. You will partner closely with the CPG Manufacturer & Data Input teams to understand client needs and continually improve system processes and standards to deliver quality and timely deliverables through strong client management.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain databases and produce / refresh reports to specifications as set out by the CPG team.
- Ensure database accuracy by reviewing data in accordance with Circana standards and checking procedures.
- Manage all database requests from the CPG teams and ensure they are completed to specification and checked prior to implementation.
- Ensure turnaround time for client deliverable (database & reports) is within specified timeframes.
- Understand Data Input requirements for change requests and data queries.
- Manage and take accountability for client portfolio.
- Be the subject matter expert on your client portfolio.
- Implement BAU projects (existing client’s new categories and expansions) according to the requirements and meeting the agreed deadlines.
- Display high attention to detail.
- Exhibit good problem diagnosing and troubleshooting skills and drive the resolution and communication of solutions on your clients' deliverables.
- Actively and consistently populate team capacity and daily management trackers as per the Client Delivery manager's or Team Leader's request.
- Identify and drive initiatives for your specific clients and your client vertical.
- Conduct quarterly vertical store visits – review client products and insights.
- Actively seek out client product performance in the market to keep relevant.
- Have knowledge of the deliverables they create and the use in the industry.
- Full knowledge and understanding of retailer sign off terms and impact on databases for your client portfolio.
- Contribute to client deliverables by optimizing databases and reports by updating and maintaining client roadmap, ensuring tasks are communicated and planned with CPG teams.
- Understand CPG requirements for allocated clients.
- Active involvement in annual CPG client account plans and execution strategies.
- Take ownership of your client deliverable.
- Ensure necessary checks and troubleshooting is conducted ahead of time and well communicated to CPG to manage clients.
- Be an active participant in JOC (Joint Operating Committee) meetings.
- Sit in presentation dry runs and client preparedness sessions to better understand clients.
- Partner with CPG teams to ensure the delivery of accurate databases within specified deadlines.
- Communicate and partner with CPG / IT / Data Input / SQL Dev to resolve any issues impacting the client deliverables.
- Ensure that all client artefacts are kept up to date and in order.
- Initiate preventative measures and speedy progress in client satisfaction and overall quality of processes, projects and products.
Measures of Success
Complete the Operations training programme and panel process within the first 4 months of employment if entering at the Client Analyst level.Ensure satisfied clients with consistent, high-quality data deliveries & delivery changes on-time, every time.Achieve on time & correct executional targets for your designated clients.Drive and promote collaboration between functions and key stakeholders.Conduct continuous improvement initiatives that improve the efficiency & effectiveness of your client vertical.Demonstrate strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Build trust and a good working rapport with fellow team members and other functions / stakeholders.Ensure that all admin and documentation is kept up to date.Active participation in self-learning and development programmes.Active participation in team meetings (Daily planning, knowledge shares, initiative sessions & other meetings).Requirements
Tertiary Education preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Data Analysis or Data Management.2-5 years of work experience in data processing, capturing, analysis roles or work within the FMCG industry will be an advantage.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook (Basic).Basic to intermediate MS SQL understanding will be an advantage.A passion for data entry, data accuracy and takes comfort in routine work processes / data management.Display a solid understanding of the business, our service offerings and a knowledge of our products / technology.An innate interest in the world of FMCG and consumer behaviour.Circana Behaviours
