We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Compliance Consultant to join our growing tax team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced Tax Consultants and Partners while becoming a key point of contact between our clients and SARS.

Key Responsibilities

As a Tax Compliance Consultant you will:

• Prepare, submit, and manage tax objections with SARS on behalf of clients.

• Handle the full objection process from initiation through to final resolution, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance throughout.

• Proactively follow up and track all tax-related matters with SARS, including objections, submissions, registrations, and applications.

• Facilitate Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, and other tax-related registrations and applications.

• Process Tax Clearance requests and ensure all SARS submissions are correctly lodged and acknowledged.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on GreatSoft.

• Act as the primary liaison between the tax team, clients, Partners, and SARS.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering professional, efficient, and responsive service.

• Provide regular feedback and progress updates to Partners and internal stakeholders.

• Prepare and submit accurate monthly reports on all outstanding and completed tax matters.

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Tax Consultant and Partners on a variety of tax-related matters.

• Attend SARS offices when required to assist with client matters and ensure successful resolution of tax queries.
