The Role : Financial Administrator
This role is ideal for a detail-driven finance professional who thrives on organisation and continuous improvement. You'll take ownership of day-to-day financial operations, ensuring that all records are accurate, compliant, and up to date. You'll also have the chance to contribute to improving financial systems and processes, setting the foundation to grow into a Junior Financial Accountant role as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and perform daily reconciliations in Xero
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Assist with preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
Verify supplier and customer data for accuracy and completeness
Support stock and cost accounting processes in collaboration with production
Help streamline and document financial workflows and procedures
Provide management with timely financial insights and reports
Maintain filing and record-keeping systems for all financial documentation
About You
Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting support role
Proficiency in Xero (non-negotiable)
Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivots, reconciliations)
Excellent attention to detail and a structured, methodical work style
Highly organised, proactive, and eager to take ownership
Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments (advantageous)
Understanding of inventory and cost accounting (a plus)
Studying towards or interested in pursuing accounting qualifications (SAIPA, CIMA, or SAICA)
Positive, collaborative attitude with a genuine interest in business growth
