Junior Finance Manager

POSITION INFO:

Our client is seeking a Junior Finance Manager to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional who has gained solid accounting experience and is looking to develop their management and leadership capabilities within a dynamic business environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and leading a small finance team. This role offers excellent exposure to both operational and strategic finance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full finance function
• Oversee debtors, creditors, and cashbook functions
• Lead and support a small finance team
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Ensure accurate month-end and year-end processing
• Maintain and improve financial controls and processes
• Partner with group finance and operational stakeholders
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements
• Support audit and compliance requirements
• Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience:

• 3-5 years' relevant accounting experience
• Full finance function experience essential
• Strong debtors, creditors, and cashbook experience
• Experience managing or supervising a small finance team
• Experience working with group finance structures advantageous
• Strong financial reporting and financial controls experience
