A gorgeous, privately owned game park and spa in KZN is looking for a capable MANAGEMENT COUPLE to take charge of the property together.

The property offers luxury tented accommodation, a restaurant, bar, spa, and conferencing and wedding facilities, so all-round hospitality experience across guest-facing and back-of-house operations will serve you well here. The ideal pairing would bring an F&B Manager and a General Manager skill set, though any combination of relevant experience will be considered.

Core Criteria:

• Previous experience in senior lodge management, food and beverage management, or general management within a luxury hospitality setting
• Strong understanding of front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including F&B service standards and stock control
• Proven staff management, training, and leadership ability
• Sound financial acumen: budgeting, cost control, and reporting
• Experience with reservations and lodge management software
• Excellent guest relations skills and a polished, professional manner
• Ability to run a remote property with independence and sound judgement
• Flexible, resilient, and comfortable with the demands of a live-in bush environment

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the lodge, spa, and conferencing operations
• Manage food and beverage operations, including menu input, stock control, and service standards
• Lead, train, and manage lodge staff across departments
• Handle guest relations, ensuring a seamless and memorable stay from arrival to departure
• Manage budgets, costings, and monthly reporting
• Oversee supplier relationships, ordering, and stock management
• Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are consistently maintained
• Coordinate with reservations to manage occupancy, weddings, and conferencing bookings
• Step in across departments as needed to maintain smooth operations
