Our client is looking for Chief Financial Officer with a proven experience in EXCO and MANCO in an industry. Are you a strategic leader who is able to work in a high impact role? We are looking for an experienced CFO who has moved beyond technical financial management and can operate as a strategic commercial partner to the business. This is not a role for a purely technical . We need a commercially minded leader who understands the numbers but, more importantly, understands what the numbers mean for the business. You should be someone who can sit at the EXCO table, challenge assumptions, identify opportunities and risks, build the financial case for strategic decisions and influence the organisation's future direction. If you're an accomplished finance executive with strong commercial acumen and experience within a regulated financial services environment, email your CV to Duties: Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, sound financial controls, and compliance with policies and regulations. Review annual financial statements and ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable standards. Provide financial insights and analysis to support management and strategic business decisions. Lead budgeting and business planning, including forecasting and financial performance monitoring. Manage capital budgeting and assess the financial impact of strategic projects and initiatives. Oversee cost management and costing models, analysing key cost drivers across the insurance business. Evaluate new business and investment opportunities, including financial modelling, valuations, feasibility studies and due diligence. Prepare and present business cases and investment proposals to senior management, EXCO, shareholders and the Board. Lead and develop the Finance team, setting objectives and ensuring delivery against agreed targets. Manage financial risk, audit and statutory compliance, providing strategic financial advice and supporting key organisational projects. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) Degree Honours Degree Experience: Completed Articles Minimum 10 years' post-qualification experience At least 5 years' experience at Senior Managerial level Experience within a regulated financial services organisation Experience in the life insurance sector would be advantageous Proven track record in strategic , risk management and regulatory compliance Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability Skills & Competencies: Strategic financial leadership and planning.
