Design Engineer

Following entry criteria :

• In possession of a tertiary engineering degree / Diploma (Mechanical, Draughtsman and Mechatronics).
• 3+ years experience in a technical design role preferably in the plastics manufacturing industry .
• Proficient in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) with 5+ years experience.
• Understand the fabrication processors to rapidly turn concepts into ready-to-manufacture designs.
• Possess a strong understanding of engineering principles.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and adhere to specifications and drafting standards.
• Strong problem-solving and solution-generation skills.
• Strong organising & planning skills.
• Demonstrates high levels of accountability and adaptability in managing projects.
• Demonstrates sound judgement and balanced decision-making.
• Strong drive to deliver work of an exceptional standard despite time pressure and constraints.
• Strong ethical framework and integrity.
• High levels of self-motivation.
• Has a strong technical background with In-depth knowledge to focus on technical accuracy and execution that can translate design concepts into precise technical drawings and documentation.
• Has excellent written and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure project success.
