Baker

Evergreens Kempton Park is seeking a skilled and dedicated Baker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of high-quality baked goods while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will be passionate about baking, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and bake a variety of breads, rolls, cakes, pastries, and other baked products.
• Follow recipes and production schedules accurately.
• Ensure products meet quality, freshness, and presentation standards.
• Monitor baking times, temperatures, and ingredient quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery according to company and health regulations.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Manage stock levels of ingredients and report shortages when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily bakery operations.

Minimum Requirements

• No drug use.
• Clear criminal record.
• Baker training certificate (proof of training is required).
• Previous experience working in a bakery.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
