Minimum requirements

• Matric

• Minimum of 2 years' experience within the sales and retail industry

• Fluent in Afrikaans and English

• Valid driver's license and own vehicle OR reliable transport

• Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays

Duties and responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, professional shopping experience for all customers

• Assist customers in selecting jewellery, watches, and related products that best meet their needs and preferences

• Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty

• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets through proactive selling techniques and product knowledge

• Provide expert advice on products, features, pricing, and care instructions

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system

• Manage customer enquiries, quotations, special orders, and after-sales service requests

• Maintain a thorough understanding of current product ranges, promotions, and industry trends

• Ensure merchandise is attractively displayed and presented according to company standards

• Assist with stock control activities, including stock counts, receiving new inventory, and reporting discrepancies

• Support store security procedures and safeguard high-value merchandise

• Resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally and in a timely manner

• Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and supporting store operations

• Ensure the sales floor, display areas, and workspaces remain clean, organised, and well-maintained

• Participate in training initiatives to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service excellence

• Uphold the company's values, policies, and standards of professionalism at all times

Remuneration

R 15 000 basic per month
