Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team in Tableview, Western Cape.

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations and reporting for a diverse portfolio of service-related businesses, trusts, and properties. You will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, proficiency in various accounting software, and the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with colleagues. Duties & Responsibilities

• Financial Management : Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Financial Reporting : Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against targets and providing insights for decision-making.
• Cash Flow Management : Manage cash flow to optimize liquidity and support business operations.
• Tax Compliance : Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with the preparation of tax returns and other compliance-related activities.
• Financial Analysis : Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Process Improvement : Continuously review and improve financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Audit Support : Facilitate audits by providing necessary documentation and assisting auditors as required.
