Our client located in Columbus, Ohio is currently looking for a Accountant to join their team based in SA (Fully Remote).

About the role :

We are seeking a Accountant based in South Africa who is ready to take the next step in their career. This role begins with hands-on accounting responsibilities and is structured to grow into a Controller-level position within the next 1218 months .

Youll gain direct international exposure, working closely with U.S. leadership, and will be mentored toward managing client files and delivering controller-level insights.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage day-to-day client accounting in QuickBooks Online and Xero .
• Perform monthly reconciliations across bank, credit card, AP / AR, and payroll accounts.
• Support the monthly close process and assist in preparing reporting packages (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Identify and implement process improvements in accounting workflows and controls.
• Collaborate directly with the U.S. CFO team to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
