Roles and Responsibilities
- Mailbox and Administrative Management :
- Manage the administrative mailbox, responding to inquiries and taking necessary actions.
- Issue invoices in bulk or on an individual request basis.
- Email payment receipts to clients as required.
- Receive and allocate payment confirmations.
Client and Broker Support :
Respond to broker and administrator queries regarding :Payment receipts and follow-ups.Providing the last four digits of credit card details.Issuing new payment links and one-off payment links.Adjusting premium frequency as requested.Investigating and advising on issues preventing payment mandate establishment.Debtor Management :
Send reminders for outstanding monthly premiums.Regularly check the debtor list to ensure reminders are sent before policies lapse due to non-payment.Schedule policy cancellations as necessary.Handle Declaration of Insurability cases where policies have lapsed due to non-payment, but the client wishes to reinstate coverage.Investigate and resolve failed payment issues through Flywire, ensuring timely client and broker updatesExecute on full group bookkeeping function (incl. fixed asset registers, bank recons, inter companies, etc.) on Sage Intaact.Skills :
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written communication and email etiquette.Ability to manage deadlines effectively and work independently.Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Prior experience in life insurance administration covering the above responsibilities.Qualifications and Certifications :
Bcom Accounting degree (Advantageous)Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar finance roleProven experience with VAT and tax management.Employment Details
