Product Owner

Were hiring a Product Owner on behalf of a well-established enterprise. This is a permanent role and is based in Cape Town.

Key responsibilities (among others)

• Setting and communicating the product vision so teams and stakeholders are aligned
• Translating broader business goals into a prioritised and continuously updated roadmap
• Working closely with teams and stakeholders to validate needs gather requirements and shape delivery
• Owning and refining the product backlog; focusing on value and clarity
• Contributing to Agile ceremonies; keeping momentum and removing ambiguity
• Writing user stories and acceptance criteria that are clear testable and aligned to user value
• Supporting the full product lifecycle; from concept to continuous improvement
• Keeping an eye on the market; understanding competitors trends and customer expectations
• Tracking performance using agreed metrics; identifying opportunities for optimisation
• Using research and data to validate product decisions and maintain customer-centricity
