Job descriptionBuild and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and vendors. Communicate project updates, risks, and issues clearly and promptly. Manage stakeholder expectations to ensure alignment with project objectives. Allocate and coordinate resources effectively across project tasks. Collaborate with department managers to assign suitable team members. Resolve resource conflicts and other issues impacting project delivery. Identify potential risks and develop robust mitigation strategies. Continuously monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure deliverables meet required standards and client expectations. Implement QA processes to validate project outcomes and maintain quality consistency. Develop and manage project budgets, tracking all expenditures to ensure cost control. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiency improvements. Provide guidance and mentorship to project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability. Motivate team members to achieve project goals and overcome challenges. Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance delivery effectiveness.Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned for future initiatives. Relevant IT Degree or Diploma . Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent recognized qualification. Minimum 10 years’ experience in IT , with at least 5 years in software development . In-depth understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC) processes. Experience within the Financial Services or Insurance sector advantageous. Proven ability to engage stakeholders across multiple divisions, both onshore and offshore. Practical experience with Agile methodologies , preferably Scrum . Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence . Strong grasp of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Proficient in MS Office and project management tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Solid financial and business acumen. Skilled in facilitation , influencing , and stakeholder management . Understanding of architectural considerations and their impact on project planning and decisions.
