Senior Mechanical Engineer - Centurion

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled professional with a proven track record in the design, development, and delivery of complex mechanical systems within a specialised industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements

• BEng or BTech in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years' post-graduate mechanical engineering experience
• Strong industry experience within a similar high-technology, advanced manufacturing, defence, aerospace, robotics, automation, or related engineering environment
• Demonstrated experience leading mechanical design projects from concept through to production
• Proficiency in 3D CAD design and engineering analysis tools
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, tolerances, and product development methodologies
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of advanced mechanical systems and products
• Drive engineering excellence throughout the product development lifecycle
• Perform detailed engineering analysis, testing, and validation activities
• Collaborate closely with electrical, software, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams
• Support prototype development, production implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
