The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service by preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests in accordance with the establishment's standards. Key ResponsibilitiesBeverage Preparation & Service - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to standard recipes.
- Mix cocktails, pour wines, beers, spirits, and specialty beverages.
- Ensure consistency in drink quality, presentation, and portion control.

Cash Handling & Administration - Process cash, card, and account payments accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and transactions.

- Complete daily bar reports where required.
Stock Control - Monitor stock usage and minimise wastage.

Minimum Requirements - Grade 12 (Matric).
- Certificate in Bartending, Hospitality, or Food & Beverage (preferred).
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Bartender in a hotel, lodge, resort, restaurant, or cocktail bar.
- Experience in a luxury hospitality environment is advantageous.
Qualifications - Bartending or Mixology certification (preferred).
- Responsible Alcohol Service training (advantageous).
- Food Safety/HACCP certification (advantageous).
Technical Skills - Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.
