Financial Manager

Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance of multiple operational areas within the business. You will lead reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, compliance, and financial controls while providing valuable commercial insight to operational and executive stakeholders. The role requires a proactive leader who can identify opportunities for improvement, support strategic decision-making, optimise financial processes, and ensure that the finance function delivers meaningful value to the wider business. Skills & Experience: - Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts and financial reporting - Analyse financial performance, profitability, cash flow, and working capital trends - Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes - Partner with operational leaders to improve performance and support decision-making - Provide financial input into projects, business cases, contracts, and commercial initiatives - Strengthen internal controls, governance, and compliance processes - Support internal and external audit requirements - Drive process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements - Develop dashboards and management reporting tools that provide actionable insights - Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members - Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and cost control across the business - Proven experience in a Financial Manager or operational finance leadership role - Strong management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis experience - Ability to partner effectively with operational and executive stakeholders - Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving ability - Experience leading and developing finance teams - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills Qualification: - CA(SA) qualification essential Connect with us on
