Job description
- Leading the full finance function, including financial control, reporting and governance. - Driving management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning. - Taking ownership of cash-flow management, cost management and financial performance. - Strengthening financial systems, policies, processes and internal controls. - Managing relationships with external auditors, banks, regulators and key stakeholders. - Ensuring compliance with South African tax, statutory and regulatory requirements. - Providing financial insight and costing support for projects and tender submissions. - Supporting project finance, financial modelling and funding applications. - Overseeing insurance, contracts and other key financial risk areas. - Leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing finance team. - Partnering with Operations and other departments to turn financial information into meaningful business decisions. What we're looking for You will be a qualified and experienced finance leader with : - A BCom Accounting degree. - Registration with SAICA, CIMA or SAIPA. - CA(SA) will be advantageous - 710 years' finance / technical accounting experience. - Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting expertise. - Proven experience in financial controls, systems, policies and governance. - Solid knowledge of South African tax and regulatory requirements. - Previous experience managing and developing a finance team. - Senior-level exposure where you have partnered with, or supported, CFO / Executive leadership. - Experience with Sage Evolution, Pastel Payroll and Fusion will be highly advantageous.
