SUMMARY:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Junior Warehouse Buyer to take ownership of sourcing, procurement, and stock optimisation within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is key to ensuring the right products are available at the right time , at the right price , to keep operations running seamlessly.

POSITION INFO:

ð§ Key Functions of the Role:

- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality and reliability
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimise cost
- Manage purchase orders from creation through to delivery
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory availability
- Support demand planning to prevent stock shortages or overstocking
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and performance tracking
- Ensure purchased goods meet required quality standards
- Analyse purchasing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities

- Matric (essential)
- Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics or Business Administration (advantageous)
- Previous experience in procurement or buying within a warehouse or supply chain environment
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
