Job Description

Reporting to the Digital Head, the SEO Specialist, will :

  • Maintain websites, ensuring optimal performance and ongoing functionality
  • Optimise website performance and implement technical SEO improvements
  • Apply SEO best practices across all marketing websites
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, analysis, and performance testing across multiple channels
  • Monitor and report on key SEO metrics, including keyword rankings, organic traffic, and overall performance
  • Utilise Google Analytics to set goals and track website traffic
  • Analyse data to identify trends and generate actionable insights
  • Maintain website appearance by enforcing content and design standards
  • Resolve technical issues

Qualifications

  • Completed courses in SEO and Digital Marketing
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in technical SEO or 3 years in a digital marketing agency
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Media, Communication, Business, or a related field (advantageous)

Skills

  • Geo AI experience
  • Certified in Google Analytics
  • Proficient in content management systems, particularly WordPress
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, or similar.

Salary / Package

R40000 - R50000
