Senior Accountant

A growing organisation is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Centurion. Key Responsibilities: - Take ownership of the full accounting function and ensure financial accuracy. - Manage and improve financial processes and controls. - Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. - Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances. - Oversee the General Ledger and month-end reporting processes. - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. - Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies. - Provide meaningful financial insights to support business decisions. - Support leadership with ad hoc reporting and analysis. - Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and controls Job Experience and Skills Required: - BCom Accounting degree or equivalent qualification. - 5-8 years' accounting experience. - Articles advantageous but not essential. - Manufacturing industry experience beneficial. - Strong experience with Pastel and/or Sage Payroll. - Payroll experience is essential. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. - Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles. - Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Proven ability to deliver results in a deadline-driven environment.
