Based: Limpopo Province
Salary Range: 550k – 880k per annum CTC

Our client, a market leader with operations based in the Limpopo Province seeks suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the following vacancy required for project development.
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
· Grade 12/N3 Certificate
· Valid Engineering Trade Test Certificate (i.e., Mechanical/Electrical/Millwright etc.)
· Maintenance Planning Certificate
· Valid Code EB (08) Driver’s license
· Computer based maintenance management system expertise
· Budget Control
• HSE Compliance
· Work Planning & Scheduling
· Plant Equipment Condition Monitoring
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
· A minimum of 5 years post qualification in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering field, with at least
3 years in a mining environment doing fixed plant maintenance,
· At least 2 years of which in a supervisory planner in a TMM environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
· Undertakes own plant inspections and prepares reports, noting deviations, remedial action,
completion dates, follow up etc., and submits to the Electrical and Maintenance Engineer.
· Coordinates the development of a common register for safe work procedures, maintains and
updates the register, and disseminates controlled copies as part of the job package.
· Raise works orders to rectify any identified defects or take necessary action to remedy defects.
· Maintains an asset register, including the type and serial numbers, for the entire fixed plant, and
updates as required.
· Maintains a technical library of hard and soft copies of all OEM and other technical manuals and
documents related to various fixed plant equipment
• Creates a maintenance schedule and condition monitoring programme for all fixed plant equipment, based on OEM instructions, and adjusts maintenance schedules based on utilization of a piece of equipment.
· Generates planned maintenance inspections and condition monitoring forms/job cards, specifying
frequency (daily, weekly etc.) and what to check in each piece of equipment.
· Generates job cards for the shutdown plans and captures job card details into the system
· Verifies that inspections are undertaken as specified, by scrutinizing completed maintenance
inspection forms, identifying deviations/errors, and following up with concerned party.
· Convenes provisional shut down meetings and advises on resource requirements and timing of the
shut-down activities and all other pertinent issues, and issues finalized plan
· Oversees the shut-down with maintenance supervisors, and conducts a retrospect exercise,
producing reports upon completion, specifying jobs completed and unfinished, with explanations
for non-completion and discussing reports with concerned parties.
· Reviews the planned maintenance and condition monitoring system and documentation on an
ongoing basis for appropriateness and effectiveness, recommends improvements to the Engineer,
and updates the system accordingly
· Develops scheduled/provisional plant shut-down plans in conjunction with maintenance
supervisors, considering outstanding work, user department needs, spares availability and other
factors, and produces a schedule using computer software.
· Creates maintenance codes for the CMMS relating to specific activities equipment, trade discipline
etc., and loads into the system.
