YARD SUPERVISOR – Immediate Start

Salary: R10 000 – R15 000 Location: Gauteng

A busy industrial yard is seeking a hands?on, technically strong Yard Supervisor with experience in production environments using guillotines, bandsaws, and similar cutting equipment. You will manage 5–10 staff, enforce discipline, and ensure safe, efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily yard operations (loading, offloading, sorting, cutting).
• Enforce discipline, punctuality, and productivity.
• Conduct toolbox talks and allocate tasks clearly.
• Plan ahead to avoid bottlenecks and ensure equipment/material readiness.
• Maintain strict safety and PPE compliance.
• Complete basic admin (job cards, checklists, reporting).

Requirements

• 3+ years’ supervisory experience in a yard/industrial/production environment.
• Technical background with hands?on experience using guillotines, bandsaws, or similar machinery.
• Strong leadership and ability to handle difficult staff confidently.
• Good planning, organisation, and communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
