Job description
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Provide technical/professional advice on electricity issues.
- Prepare, monitor and control capital and operating budgets.
- Actively support and promote safety and accident prevention.
- Maintain, enhance and encourage good public relations.
- Supervise and monitor the performance, development and conduct of staff.
- Manage and oversee projects allocated to consultants and contractors.
- Comply with legislative and regulatory requirements and investigate new systems, practices and technology.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering (NQF Level 8) in Electrical Engineering.
- Registered as a Professional Electrical Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
- Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- 5 years relevant post registration experience in the Electricity Supply Industry
- Computer Literacy.
