A leading consulting engineering company is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join its Building Services team. POSITION INFO:
Job Description:
- Design MV/LV electrical building services systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects
- Prepare electrical calculations, technical reports, specifications, and drawings
- Develop and update designs using Revit and AutoCAD
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during project implementation
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and project requirements
- Assist with technical problem-solving and ensure successful project delivery
Skills & Experience:
- Deliver accurate and practical electrical designs
- Support projects from design through to construction
- Maintain strong technical and quality standards
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in electrical building services consulting
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Qualification:
- BEng, BSc, or BTech in Electrical Engineering
- ECSA Candidate registration or progression towards professional registration is advantageous
