Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities: - Process accounting transactions up to Trial Balance. - Assist with management accounts and financial reporting. - Manage payroll on Sage Payroll Professional. - Prepare and submit VAT201, EMP201, EMP501, UIF, and other statutory returns. - Handle provisional tax and corporate income tax submissions. - Prepare year-end audit files and liaise with auditors. - Manage supplier reconciliations, payment batches, and inventory records. Minimum Requirements: - BCom Accounting Degree. - Minimum 3 years' commercial accounting experience. - Manufacturing industry experience advantageous. - Fluent in Afrikaans and English. - Strong working knowledge of Sage Evolution and Sage Payroll Professional. - Advanced Excel skills. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
