Location: Gauteng
Contract Term: ASAP - 31 December 2026

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Specific Technical / Functional skills:

  1. Finance/Accounting understanding to assist with problem resolution
  2. Understanding of operations processes
  3. Informatics understanding to resolve problems related to data flow between various systems & middleware
  4. Capability to improve on current processes where required
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  6. Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter


ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  1. German Speaking (Advantageous)
  2. DEVOPS (advantageous)
  3. Confluence and Jira (advantageous)
  4. Ownership mentality, willingness to take over responsibility and drive topics
  5. Willingness to deal with (talk to) our global customers (due to the global exposure language barriers might exist)
  6. Above board work ethics – this is of utmost importance
  7. Open and pro-active communication across teams
  8. Ability to understand complex work environments
  9. Flexibility to take up different tasks in the feature team
  10. Flexibility to work weekends and after hours in a shift schedule
  11. IT experience delivering operations support services

WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?

  1. Relevant IT / Business Degree
  2. 3 - 5 years’ experience


WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES?

  1. Take over operations activities in an SAP environment (Treasury, Banking, Cash Management, In-House Cash, Multi-Banking-Connectivity)
  2. Work rotation spans over morning, evening, and weekend shifts, also on public holidays
  3. Working knowledge of and understanding of the business processes for developing, and testing SAP functions associated with financial operations.
  4. Provide general assistance to the Operations team and end users
  5. Adhere to the PIC processes (Problem, Incident & Change Management)
  6. Perform daily operations tasks and end user support
  7. Creation of pertinent test documentation
  8. Enable end user knowledge transfer and training
  9. Work closely with other functional consultants, developers, product owners and various global stakeholders in a bigger feature team
  10. Back-out Planning
