Accounting Manager Position

An Automotive Group in Durban - Pinetown has a vacancy for an Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Accounting Manager will include:

1. Ensuring that monthly management accounts and reports are generated timeously.
2. Preparing and reviewing reconciliations, schedules, and queries.
3. Preparing financial policies and procedures.
4. Coordinating/preparing for interim and final financial year-end audits.
5. Performing any other ad hoc assignments assigned by the General Manager and Group Financial Executive at head office.

Experience & Qualifications

Requirements include:

• Automotive industry experience.
• CA qualification would be advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in an accounting environment, along with relevant IFRS knowledge and experience.
• Preference will be given to applicants with a Motor Industry background.
• Accounting background.
• Knowledge of accounting practices.
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting practices and principles.
• Auditing practices and principles.
• Ability to analyze data.
• Understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Supervisory skills.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.

Package & Remuneration

The salary package is between R45,000 and R60,000 per month, with a car allowance of R16,626 per month, plus fuel allowance, Provident Fund, and Medical Aid fund.
