Solutions Architect: Mid-Level (MS D365), Rosebank

Overview

We're hiring a Solutions Architect: Mid-Level (Microsoft Dynamics 365) within the F&O & SCM modules, on behalf of a leading natural resources company operating across several African countries, for their Rosebank, Johannesburg office.

Position Summary and Key Responsibilities

We're seeking an experienced Solution Architect to combine technical skills on MS D365 F&O & Supply Chain Management, with a deep understanding of related MS Dynamics user functionality, business processes plus experience with the latest PowerPlatform technologies.

• Providing answers to users and business-cases for best practice on MS D365 standard functionality
• Understanding and documenting business requirements and recommending solution designs
• In case of required extensions, creating technical specifications
• Hands-On customising MS D365 by utilizing the provided MS Power Platform tools
• Understanding, developing, maintaining and improving Visual Studio code extensions for MS D&365
• Integration and Automation Development for MSD365 and underlying systems (mainly Webservice, File-Exchange and DB integration endpoint development)
• UI enhancements on MS D365 for better workflow and usability
• Plan and manage releases for MS D365
• 3rd Level Support for MS D365
• 5+ years experience in the Technical Customisation and Development of MS Dynamics 365 F&O & SCM modules
• Business Process understanding in Supply Chain and Finance (including Warehouse and Inventory Management, Production Processing, Procurement Planning, Procure to Pay process, Asset Management, Finance and Budgeting, Master Data Management)
• Integration and Automation development experience on MS D365 F&O.
• Experience in Webservice Development, SQL and X-language-family (XML, XSLT)
• Technical knowledge and experience on the MS Power Platform family as both stand-alone apps, as well as integrated to D365 F&O, Dataverse and embedded within the MSD UI.
• Experience in replacing Visual Studio customised extensions with UI-embedded PowerApps within the MS User-Menu
• Experience on Administration, Release Packaging, DevOps and Deployment for Azure Cloud MSD365 F&O environment
