The ideal candidate must have a B.Com degree in accounting and a background in financial services.

Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Completed B.Com degree in accounting.
• 4 years or more of experience in business investment or business finance-related roles.
• Experience in banking/insurance house is non-negotiable.
• Sales and marketing experience will be an advantage.

Job Description:

• Creating detailed financial models, including revenue projections, cost analysis, risk assessment, and return calculations to guide investments.
• Conducting market research to identify potential clients and strategic partnerships for the business.
• Assessing the financial health and potential risks of targeted companies through comprehensive due diligence.
• Organising and participating in networking events, conferences, and industry forums to establish and strengthen business networks.
• Keeping abreast of industry regulations, market dynamics, and economic trends to adapt investment strategies accordingly.
• Monitoring and evaluating the performance of client portfolios.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the broader SME market.
• Structuring and negotiating viable financing solutions with targeted companies to optimize returns for the company based on the associated risk.
• Drafting comprehensive investment reports that communicate findings, risks, and potential returns to stakeholders.

Package & Remuneration

R 500 000 - R 550 000 - Annually
