Duties & Responsibilities

Senior Front-End Developer (Next.js)
Johannesburg

Responsibilities:

Write Good Quality Code:

• Write clean, efficient, and high-quality code for web applications.
• Collaborate with designers to optimize designs for performance and usability.
• Build pixel-perfect implementations of design concepts.
• Ensure responsive design for various screen sizes.

Drive Product Delivery:

• Contribute to the delivery of web products and features, aligning with the business strategy and product vision.
• Develop and deliver products on time, meeting requirements and specifications.
• Identify and manage technical challenges and risks in projects.
• Strive for high performance and product quality.

Collaborating With Products:

• Liaise with Product Owners or Manager to keep them informed about project progress.
• Collaborate with the Product Team and the broader Dev Team for successful product delivery.
• Work closely with the Head of Dev for technical support and leadership.

Support:

• Assist the Head of Dev in handling operational issues.
• Debug and fix bugs that arise from users or system issues.
• Provide support for product-specific queries.

Learning and Development:

• Continuously learn and stay updated with industry-related knowledge and new trends.
• Stay informed about new technologies and innovations.
• Proactively learn new languages or frameworks when necessary.
• Share knowledge and encourage team-level improvements.

Technologies:

• Front-End, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git Version, UX/UI Design and Next.js
