We're looking for an experienced and motivated professional for our client who is one of SA's leading insurers to lead their software development team and drive the implementation of innovative solutions to support their business operations. As the Software Development Manager, you will work closely with key stakeholders to understand business needs and develop software to support them.

Key responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the software development team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure project success
2. Define and implement software development processes and methodologies
3. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
4. Stay current with industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions are cutting-edge
5. Ensure software development projects are delivered on time and within budget

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a management role
2. Strong leadership and project management skills
3. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
