Production Process Engineer

We seek an exceptional and passionate Production Process Engineer to join a dynamic Automation team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Identifying bottlenecks throughout the procurement and production processes, proposing solutions and updating formal process documents and guides;
  2. Optimising the production process to minimise delays, waste and cost;
  3. Implementing formal processes in our ERP as well as guiding lower level development (e.g. through the SDS Team);
  4. Optimising stock levels based on sales forecasts;
  5. Store organisation and optimisation;
  6. Actively maintaining the production plan, identifying the critical paths, continuous re-risking and minimisation of the critical path, communication and feedback to production, procurement, development and management as required;

Desired Experience & Qualification

  1. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
  2. Required Skills and Experience:
    1. Industry experience in an electromechanical production environment;
    2. Familiarity with an industry-standard ERP, ideally Odoo.
  3. Recommended Skills and Experience:
    1. 2-3 years' experience in an electronic assembly production environment;
    2. Familiarity with Python.
  4. General Skills:
    1. Ability to learn fast and absorb new information quickly;
    2. Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate on large projects;
    3. Ability to work independently;
    4. Strong problem-solving skills;
    5. High standard of communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
