System Developer

Job Purpose

The Systems developer will play a key role in the documentation, development, installation, testing, and maintenance of software systems, including integration-related projects. The systems that the systems developer create will help the business be more efficient and provide better service.

Duties & Responsibilities

Application Development:

1. Designing, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages.
2. Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis.
3. Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD).
4. Software modelling and simulation.
5. Software testing and quality assurance.
6. Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
7. Integrate software with existing systems.

Compliance:

1. Participate in code build and release processes.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Knowledge/Experience:

1. 5+ years as a Software Developer/System Engineer.
2. Min 5 years experience in full lifecycle software application development.
3. Min. 5 years experience developing C# and .Net (including min. 3 years’ experience using .Net Core).
4. Min. 5 years experience developing WebAPI/web services/REST.
5. Min 5 years MS SQL server/T-SQL or similar.
6. Min 5 years experience in Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD).
7. Min. 5 years' experience developing web apps.
8. Experience with Azure DevOps.
9. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
10. Must be able to identify problems and facilitate problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset and approach.
11. Excellent ability to multi-task between multiple projects.
12. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal.
13. Creative thinker who can provide alternatives to existing or proposed solutions.
14. Valid driver's license – Code 08.
