Responsibilities

Senior Digital Media Buyer will develop, deploy, and optimise paid media campaigns across multiple digital platforms to achieve high conversion rates and profitability. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, deploying and optimising paid media campaigns, ensuring high conversion rates and maximised profitability for acquisition and awareness.
  • Using performance metrics (CPA, CPM) to revise campaigns for strategy and optimisation.
  • Proactively and effectively optimising media buys utilizing KPI metrics and internal data to ensure campaign profitability.
  • Analyzing campaign data, developing and deploying tactics and strategies to continuously scale spend and improve conversion performance and efficiencies.
  • Negotiating pricing and terms for advertising purchases considering business requirements, media availability, media specifications and budgets.
  • Identifying, researching, evaluating media market trends, media supply availability, new markets and competitive activity to capture untapped opportunities.
  • Collaborating/coordinating with cross‑functional teams including content, creative and development to craft new advertising campaigns.
  • Effectively managing positive and productive relationships with online publishers and vendors.
  • Leading and mentoring Junior Digital Media Buyers and managing a team for success.
  • Ensuring targets are achieved and campaigns are analysed and optimised to exceed KPI’s.
  • Providing ad‑hoc, weekly and monthly reports to all internal parties based on performance per product and per campaign.
  • Maintaining continuous communication and meetings with all internal stakeholders to meet target requirements.
  • Researching competitors and providing suggestions for improvement.
  • Booking digital media across websites, apps and suitable ad networks.
  • Optimising advertising campaigns based on performance.
  • Updating necessary campaign budgets upon review.
  • Reporting to management and key stakeholders on campaign performance.
  • Working with the compliance team to secure digital campaign agreements.
  • Monitoring campaign performance and reporting on a weekly basis.
  • Assisting with running campaigns on self‑service programmatic platforms.
  • Joining campaign performance meetings to build relationships with external service providers.
  • Identifying and implementing new potential digital external opportunities.
  • Ensuring contracts are renewed accordingly and payment for campaigns is submitted timely.
  • Implementing strategies to ensure acquisition of clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years experience in SEO and PPC.
  • Minimum 2–3 years management experience.
  • Degree in Marketing, Digital Technologies, or a relevant field (bonus).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategy.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proactive, solutions‑oriented, and performance‑driven.
