A JSE-listed client in Pretoria requires the expertise of a qualified Engineer specializing in Electrical power systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead, implement, and manage the maintenance strategy.
• Implement and manage an engineering asset life cycle management system.
• Develop and review operations and maintenance policies and procedures for improved operational efficiency.
• Develop, review, and enhance the engineering asset assessment system.
• Identify and compile operational training material.
• Approve designs for building specifications and new technology implementations, including applicable factory acceptance testing.
• Manage equipment/plant condition reports.
• Manage new contracts with equipment instructions, outlining OEM requirements, and maintenance strategies.
• Manage the database in SAP through master data.
• Perform/lead specific equipment/plant failure/incident investigations, reporting and ensuring compliance with legal requirements concerning statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Provide support with breakdowns and site reinstatement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) or Electrical Trade with National-N-Diploma.
• SAP CMMS experience.
• OHS compliance & SANS 10142-1 & 2.
• Minimum of 10 years experience.
