Minimum Qualifications

• Completed University degree in computer science or Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) / MCSE with a strong scripting/coding background.
• Good understanding of ASP.Net MVC, WCF, SQL, SOA, and OOP principles.

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform complex troubleshooting and development assistance for live systems.
• Manage resolution of complex issues, including escalation, system testing, strategy sessions, and knowledge distribution throughout the company.
• Act as the bridge between the support team and business role players.
• Write sample code and technical articles on system resolutions.
• Perform troubleshooting sessions with tech leads/team leads.
• Diagnose code samples from systems for advanced testing purposes to identify issues and document them completely prior to internal escalation.
• Act as point of escalation for technical questions including internal and external inquiries.
• Identify trending issues for systems that may require escalation.
• Follow all standards and methodologies.
• Work closely with other developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
• Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of staff, senior management, and customers.
• Keep abreast of technical and industry developments.
• Log hours worked.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

Experience:

• University degree in computer science or Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) beneficial OR an MCSE with a strong scripting/coding background.
• At least 2 years of experience in .Net C# development.
• Good understanding of ASP.Net MVC.
• Solid understanding and experience in WCF (nServiceBus beneficial).
• Good understanding of T-SQL and MS SQL.
• Solid understanding of SOA and OOP principles.
• Good understanding of N-tier and N-layered architecture.
• Experience with ASP.net Authentication and Authorization.
• Good understanding of ORM technologies (EF beneficial).
• Restful service experience beneficial.
• Solid experience with Team Foundation Server and Git Repositories.
• Experience with Octopus Deploy.
• Experience with MSSQL performance tuning.
• Experience with Distributed transactions (WCF/NServiceBus/MSMQ beneficial).
• Experience with Messaging Protocol (MSMQ beneficial).
• Experience with Long Running transactions (NServiceBus beneficial).
• Experience with Web Security (IdentityServer beneficial).
• Understanding of enterprise-class infrastructure (Network, Hyper Visor, Active Directory, Operating Systems, Cloud).
• ITIL/COBIT framework knowledge as the resource will need to align those processes.
