Maintenance Planner

Our client Rheinmetall Denel Munition is looking for a Maintenance Planner on a fixed term contract.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting with general administrative tasks in workshops.
• Assisting with ordering and follow up of spares.
• Schedule pre-planned work (resources) for each Maintenance Supervisor.
• Implementing Performance measurements per plant with monthly reports.
• Assist in training of maintenance and plant personnel on the SAP maintenance module.
• Prepare shutdown planning with Maintenance Supervisors and arrange resources.
• Maintaining the SAP maintenance system.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Qualified artisan with 2-3 years exposure in a maintenance environment.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
• Excellent communication skills and high level of professionalism.
• Excellent administrative skills with a highly organized approach.
• Ability to work independently, show initiative and demonstrate good judgment.
• Fully computer literate (all MS Office packages).
• Experience in Maintenance Planning and SAP.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000, 14000 and NOSA systems will be advantageous.
• Ability to work in a team and to function independently.
• Must be willing to work overtime if required.
• Must be able to work without supervision.
