Introduction

Established top investment solutions firm has an exciting client-facing opportunity available for a young investment professional to take responsibility for a portfolio of institutional clients and provide a comprehensive investment consulting service to these clients.

The firm is specifically seeking an investment technically strong individual, who would be able to perform investment consulting analysis/calculations/modelling herself/himself, if need be.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality client service and build deep relationships with clients, advisors and other stakeholders.
• Create, review and update investment manager research for distribution to a wide audience, including clients and prospective clients.
• Draft and review clients’ IPS and manage clients’ investment strategy design.
• Design and draft client investment presentations and attend client meetings/roadshows to deliver economic, investment performance and investment strategy feedback.
• Manage delivery of accurate investment reports for client meetings.
• Respond to ad hoc data and analytical requests from clients.
• Do ad hoc investment research and distribute to clients.
• Manage scope of services with each client according to the signed SLA.
• Ensure CRM system is kept up to date.
• Assist in building technical/quantitative investment models.
• Form part of the tactical asset allocation, asset manager review and portfolio construction committees.
• Attend feedback and manager review meetings and give input from a client perspective to the investment research team.
• Collaborate in the development or testing of new analytical software.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Investment-specific, or Actuarial degree with more than 4 years’ relevant investment experience.
• CFA Charter or studying towards, strongly preferred.
• Applicable fit & proper industry certifications.
• Strong performance analysis, quantitative, logical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, under severe pressure on multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Accuracy and attention to detail crucial.
• A keen interest in investment markets, investment theory and economics.
