Legal Officer: Implementation

We are seeking a Legal Officer: Implementation for a permanent vacancy based in Bellville, Cape Town. Our client’s core business is along the lines of banking, lending established SME’s money for business growth.

Duties & Responsibilities

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• LLB Degree.
• Admission as an attorney (minimum 2 years post admission experience).
• Conveyancing experience advantageous.
• Candidates must be resident in Cape Town.

Job requirements, but not limited to:

• Drafting legal documents.
• Registration and cancellation of securities and conditions on approved business loans, and identifying potential business risks.
• Liaising with clients and intermediaries like attorneys, auditors/insurance brokers in the process of implementing business loans.
• Scrutinizing agreements and other legal documents and structuring loan term sheets.
• General legal advice and guidance, including research topics where applicable.

Salary: Market related
