Head of Reporting (Mining)

Rosebank, Johannesburg (Full-Time | On-Site)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Reporting to join a dynamic team based in Rosebank. With the upcoming June year-end approaching, the business is looking to secure a high-calibre candidate who can step in and make an immediate impact.

This role is ideally suited to a qualified CA(SA) with 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience, bringing strong exposure to group reporting and consolidations within a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the group consolidation process across monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management accounts
• Ensure compliance with IFRS for SMEs standards
• Manage and oversee intercompany eliminations
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement across reporting frameworks
• Collaborate closely with finance teams across the group to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Support the integration of new acquisitions into the group reporting structure

Requirements

• Qualified CA(SA)
• 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience
• Strong technical expertise in group reporting and consolidations
• Solid understanding of IFRS for SMEs
• High attention to detail with a hands‑on, solutions-driven approach
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
