Junior Quantity Surveyor. Market Related

Position available in the building industry to be based in Bloemfontein.

Candidates that would like to apply will need the following:

• Grade 12.
• Qualification in BSc (Quantity Surveying, Construction/Project Management).
• Registered Professional at ASAQS/MBA.
• 3 - 5 Years experience in the building construction industry.
• Valid RSA driver's licence.
• Own reliable transport.
• No criminal record.

The position has the following responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring cost-effectiveness, profitability, risk management, and contractual compliance in projects.
• Monitoring financial and commercial aspects, detecting variances, and safeguarding contractual rights.
• Supporting department specialists, monitoring subcontractor productivity, and ensuring statutory compliance and adherence to company procedures and systems.
• Understand and submit tenders.
