Job description
Job Opportunity for CA(SA)
This is an exciting opportunity for a CA(SA) with 2 to 3 years post Articles experience. Reporting to the CEO, with the vision to transition into Financial Manager over time. If this is your dream, apply today!
Responsibilities:
Month End:
- Preparing loan account reconciliations and product development cost calculations
- Review of subsidiaries' management accounts
- Tax calculations
- Preparing group consolidated management accounts
Year-end Audit:
- Management of the year-end external audit requirements/deliverables
- Ensure that financial transactions in the group are recorded in compliance with IFRS
- Assist group companies with technical accounting transactions and year-end reporting packs
- Review inter-group transactions and loan accounts
- Overseeing the reporting by group companies (local and foreign) and perform group consolidations
- Tax calculations
- Group financial reporting packs for submission to a listed company
- Preparation of group companies annual financial statements
Reporting:
- Compiling of management information
- Drafting of reports for the Finance and risk committee and board of directors
Other:
- Tax compliance responsibilities
- Compile group consolidated budgets and budget reporting pack
- Compile Group consolidated cash flow forecast
- Assistance/involvement with mergers and acquisitions
- Assist CFO and CEO with presentations to stakeholders
Requirements:
- 3 years post article experience
- Management accounting experience
- Problem solving skills / can work independently
