An underground mining machinery company is seeking the services of a Mechatronic Engineer.

Duties & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechatronic Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of advanced underground mining machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechatronics, robotics, and automation, with experience in designing and implementing innovative solutions for challenging environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test mechatronic systems for underground mining machinery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components.
• Optimize existing systems for improved performance, efficiency, and safety.
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations for new projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in mechatronic system design, integration, and optimization.
• Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design (e.g., SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with PLC programming, control systems, and sensor technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Prior experience in the mining industry is a plus.
