Sales Consultant

Our client is a technical company within the construction and mechanical and allied arena; manufacturers of custom made garage doors, commercial sectional doors and roller shutter doors, is looking for an energy dynamic Sales Consultant.

Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

1. Constantly maintain knowledge of products
2. Consult with Professionals within the building industry; Architects, Developers, Quantity surveyors etc
3. Attend Site Meetings (Own transport is a prerequisite)
4. Specify the correct product for the correct application
5. Understand architectural drawings
6. Build and maintain relationships with clients
7. Generating of new leads – by means of Cold calling
8. Pipeline reporting and Sales Forecast
9. Achieve set thresholds
10. Measuring of apertures
11. Processing of paperwork for manufacture
12. Provide advice/solutions for difficult installations

Desired Experience & Qualification

Experience

1. Sales experience in the construction and mechanical industry
2. Computer literate in software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
3. Able to handle pressure

Qualification

1. Matric
2. Own vehicle

Package & Remuneration

±R 16 000 Basic plus commission after threshold is reached
