Duties & Responsibilities

We are looking for a seasoned Field Service Engineer with some Sales Experience in the Manufacturing Industry.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in troubleshooting and repair activities to equipment.
• Mentor and train Apprentice Engineer with routine maintenance, fault finding and installations.
• Attend to breakdowns during and after business hours.
• Sales visits to new and existing clients when technical responsibilities are slow.
• Collect information and open an enquiry.
• Present the offer to the client and go through the specification of the machine.
• Follow up on opportunities from quotation right through to order.
• Compile detailed visit reports on Salesforce.
• Handling of customer complaints and resolving conflict.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Allied Qualification in Electronic Engineering / Mechatronics/Electrical
• Formal Sales Training would be advantageous.
• 2-4 years servicing Packaging Machines
• 1-2 years Client Experience in the FMCG Industry

Skills & Attributes:

• Solid understanding of electronic engineering principles and concepts.
• Interpersonal Skills
• Technical Marketing/Sales experience an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyse complex problems and identify solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the field of Weighing and Inspection Equipment.
