Senior Budgeting Manager

Position: Senior Budgeting Manager
Location: Johannesburg, South Africa

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive budgeting processes and procedures in alignment with the company's financial goals and objectives
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to provide actionable insights to senior management
• Collaborate with various departments to gather budget input, track spending, and ensure adherence to budget constraints
• Conduct variance analysis to identify areas of concern and recommend appropriate corrective actions
• Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the potential impact of different financial scenarios on the company's performance
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide regular updates to senior management
• Lead and mentor a team of budgeting analysts to ensure accurate and timely budgeting and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• CPA or CFA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or related field
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage a team effectively
