Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Matric / Standard 10 / grade 12.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of sales experience within the express road freight sector.
• Industry experience non-negotiable.
• Proven sales track record in the road freight industry.
• Sales driven / target driven.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage a consistent sales pipeline.
• Communication skills and telephone etiquette.
• Self-motivated and committed individual to meet monthly targets.
• Technical Competence.
• Customer Service Driven.
• Valid drivers license.

Responsibilities and expectations include:

• Sourcing and establishing new clients.
• Maintaining business relationships.
• Maintain a strong customer service attitude.
• Assist and resolve queries in the operations and accounts department as and when required.
• Developing and presenting proposals for potential and existing clients.
• Providing training and assisting customers with the Company track and online website.
• Achieving monthly budgets; Both Existing and New business budget.
• Completing daily CRM reports.
• Growing existing business and cross-selling with existing clients.
• Assisting the debtor's department with the collection of outstanding monies as and when required.
• Innovating new business opportunities.
• Assistance in the customer service department as and when required.
• Ensure that timeous quotes are given to all customers and that they are accurate and up to date.
