IT Asset Manager

Hire Resolve's client is looking for a talented and experienced IT Asset Manager to join their team Cape Town, WC. The successful candidate join ateam of experienced professionals offering comprehensive assessment of the IT environment, which includes a review of licensing agreements, cloud infrastructure usage and costs, and existing IT assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT asset management policies and procedures
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware and software assets
• Monitor and track IT asset usage and lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with software licenses and vendor agreements
• Identify opportunities to optimize asset utilization and reduce costs
• Coordinate with IT, procurement, and finance teams to track asset purchases, deployments, and retirements
• Conduct regular audits of IT assets to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Provide reports and analysis on asset performance, cost savings, and risks
• Stay current on industry best practices and trends in IT asset management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT asset management or related field
• Strong knowledge of hardware and software asset management principles and practices
• Experience with asset management tools and software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Certification in IT asset management preferred
