Finance Controller Opportunity

A dynamic opportunity awaits within the FMCG sector as our client actively seeks a proficient and driven individual to join their finance team in the pivotal role of Finance Controller.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Proven experience in a financial management role.
• Professional certification (e.g., SAICA, CIMA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and reporting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to lead and manage a diverse finance team.
• Experience and exposure in the FMCG required.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
• Identify financial risks and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with the Head of Finance in developing and maintaining robust internal controls.
• Manage and lead the finance team.
• Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and achieve organizational objectives.
• Support the Head of Finance in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare documentation and assist in the coordination of internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Package & Remuneration

Salary: Up to R60 000 per month

Area: Randburg, Johannesburg
